These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Beekeeper’s Notebook mobile application (the “Service”), operated by Orgreave Honey Co (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
By registering for an account, verifying your email, or otherwise using The Beekeeper’s Notebook, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old, or have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
The information you provide is accurate and complete.
You agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any updates means you accept the revised Terms.
The Beekeeper’s Notebook allows users to record and manage apiaries, hives, and hive inspections, including notes, photographs, voice recordings, and other beekeeping records.
Paid subscription plans may provide access to additional features available within the application.
You agree to:
Provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
Use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing your own beekeeping records or records belonging to an organisation you are authorised to manage.
Not attempt to access another user’s account, information, or data without permission.
Not upload unlawful, abusive, harmful, infringing, or inappropriate content.
Not reverse engineer, copy, modify, scrape, disrupt, or interfere with the application, its systems, or backend services.
You are responsible for:
The information, notes, photographs, and recordings you create within the app.
Keeping your login credentials confidential.
Informing us immediately at beekeepersnotebook@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Some features of The Beekeeper’s Notebook require a paid subscription.
If you subscribe:
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe.
We never see, access, or store your complete payment card information.
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can view your subscription plan, update your payment method, and manage billing through the Subscription section inside the app.
Subscription management may redirect you to Stripe’s secure billing portal.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Refund requests should include:
Your account email address
Subscription details
Description of the issue
Any approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for purchase.
If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No additional charges will be made after cancellation.
We may change subscription pricing or available plans in the future. If a pricing change affects an active subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before the new pricing takes effect.
You retain ownership of all notes, photographs, voice recordings, and other information you create within The Beekeeper’s Notebook (“Your Content”).
By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited licence to:
Store your information securely.
Process your information to provide the Service.
Display your information back to you within the application.
If the app supports sharing features, your content may only be shared with users or services you explicitly authorise.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
We do not use your content to train third-party AI models or for advertising purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to upload any content you add to the application.
The The Beekeeper’s Notebook application, including its:
Design
Branding
Logo
Software
Features
Content
are owned by Orgreave Honey Co and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, branding, software, or source code except for the purpose of using the Service as intended.
The Beekeeper’s Notebook is a record-keeping and organisational tool.
The Service is not a replacement for:
Professional beekeeping advice
Agricultural advice
Veterinary advice
Expert inspection guidance
We do not guarantee that information recorded within the app will prevent hive loss, improve hive health, or produce specific beekeeping outcomes.
The Service is provided:
“As is” and “as available”
without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orgreave Honey Co will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Loss of data
Loss of hive records
Loss of business opportunities
Service interruptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
You may stop using The Beekeeper’s Notebook and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms.
You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour.
Required by law or regulatory authorities.
Upon termination:
Your access to the Service will end immediately.
Sections relating to disclaimers, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and other provisions intended to survive termination will remain effective.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled according to applicable UK laws and regulations.
We may revise these Terms from time to time.
